Each class takes part in a special Retreat day to help children learn more about Christianity. These days immerse the children in creative opportunities to explore our values and parts of the liturgical calendar. Each class presents their learning to their families in a special collective worship celebration afterwards!

Year 6: Stewardship and Leadership

The children explored Emma Yarlett's 'The Big Frieze' and linked the images with elements from the Bible. They considered what each part of the Bible means to Christians and then they produced their own version of the art work to showcase in school. 

Year 4: The Rosary

The children explored what the Rosary means and how some Christians use it to help them feel closer to God when they pray. The children learnt the prayers and created some marvellous art work to help them secure their understanding.  They enjoyed presenting their learning to their families in Collective Worship.
