You can now apply for a Reception place to start in September 2026.  

All the information you need is available on the Hertfordshire County Council website www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions

If you have a child already in our school In Years Reception to Year 6, you can apply as a sibling – please ensure that you indicate they are a sibling and put in your older child's details on the online form (also called the common application form or CAF). 

If your child is summer born, and you are considering applying a year later, please note that St John's does not automatically accept children out of cohort (including summer born children). If this is something that you are considering, please contact admissions@watfordstjohns.org for advice on the process. We would always advise that you make an application for the usual admissions year whilst you find out the options available to you.
