The lunchtime experience is seen as important as any other part of the school day. Our Christian values are at the heart of all we do to serve our children, and it is very important that we continue to ‘break bread’ with one another. We believe that it is important that all our children eat a hot, nutritious meal together every day. However, children have the option to bring a packed lunch from home, as long as the packed lunch follows the rules within the Lunch Policy.

All lunches must be ordered one week in advance by our families in advance via Arbor. This includes packed lunch and children who receive free school meals.  By ordering in advance, children have the option to swap between school meals and packed lunches and help our catering partner, Coombs, make sure that there is enough food for the children each day.

We are unable to accommodate orders for school lunches requested on the day.

Any families who have not placed orders by the weekly deadline will be required to provide a packed lunch from home.

Please remember that we are a nut, sesame and poppy seed free school. It is essential to promote healthy eating and keep all of our children safe.

We are delighted to work with Coombs Catering and our in-house chef and catering team. On this page you can find our current three-weekly menu.

In Reception, Years 1 and Year 2 meals are provided free of charge, funded by the Government.

In KS2 (Years 3 to 6), meals are provided at a cost of £2.98 per meal per day.

Free School Meals (FSM)

From September 2026, the eligibility criteria for Free School Meals (FSM) will be changing.

From the start of the new school year, all parents/carers who are in receipt of Universal Credit will be eligible for Free School Meals, regardless of the amount received.

Applying takes around 3 minutes, and you will need your National Insurance number.  We encourage you to apply even if you have previously been told you were not eligible. Not only will your child receive a hot, nutritious meal at lunchtime, but the school will also receive additional funding to support pupils.

The majority of pupils who are already receiving free school meals do not need to re-apply. The school office will have already contacted you if you need to re-apply.
